Frequently Asked Questions

How long have you been a photographer?

I've been a professional photographer for over 16 years after studying to 4 years to HND level. I have been self employed for the last 12 years.

How do I go about confirming a booking?

After an  informal chat to talk about your exciting plans and you decide i'm the photographer for you I ask for a £200.00 deposit to secure your day. Full payment is required 30 days before your wedding date.

What style of photography do you offer? Reportage or traditional?

My aim is to tell the story of your day in an informal manner, capturing the emotions of the day as it unfolds. The photographs provide a beautiful memory book of your wedding day from beginning to end.

Can I customise my package?

Of course, if you have something bepoke in mind just let me know, its your day

How many photographs will you take/provide us with?

There is no limit on the amount of images taken, it can depend on the size of wedding, location and weather. The final selection of photographs supplied is around 250/300 pictures. I believe in the quality of the photography not quantity.

How long after the wedding do we see the images?

I get to work straight after your day carefully hand editing each photograph. Your finished pictures are usually ready 3 to 4 weeks after your wedding, although I always offer sneak previews beforehand!  You'll have access to your own private gallery to view and share and a hard copy in a smart little CD folio.

Who owns the copyright of the images?

The copyright remains with the photographer but full licensing of the images is yours to share and print as you wish, files are all high resolution. I only use professional camera's and lenses to photograph your wedding day.

Do you re-touch or enhance the images?

Yes each image is considered and carefully hand edited to produce a beautiful collection of photographs.
